FAMILY LIFE.
Janssen is married to Ging Asido-Morados. They were introduced by a common friend in college, when Janssen was then studying as De La Salle University, while Ging was enrolled at St. Scholastica’s College. The introduction led to a great friendship that blossomed to courtship. Eventually, they got engaged, married, and had children: Andee, their eldest, is now 10 years old, followed by Julia, now 8 years old, and 6-year old Joax.
LIFE IN THE MINISTRY.
Janssen and Ging surrendered their lives to Christ in August 15, 1999 at the Victory Alabang, which was then a new church meeting at Westgate building. Ging’s sister, Pia, and her husband, Pastor Michael Paderes, were the ones who invited them to the worship service. In August of 2000, Janssen expressed his desire to work in the ministry to his small group leader. His desire continued to burn until it became too strong that he cannot imagine doing anything else. In October of 2003, Pastor Ariel asked him if he could be a full time administrator for Victory Alabang. Janssen grabbed the opportunity, resigned from his job, and never looked back since.
Janssen’s heart is to point people to Christ and making God famous. He is zealous on preaching about Jesus, Faithfulness, and living a Life to the full. “Jesus for me,” Janssen relates, “is the center of our faith. He is our main point.” Janssen also adds that faithfulness is one of the things that he believes God has entrusted him as it clearly manifests in his lifestyle.
WISDOM TO LIVE BY.
“I have come that they may have life, and have life to the full” (John 10:10). Janssen maintains that “a full life can only materialize with Jesus Christ. “
